Peter Goulandris Appointed Chairman

Waterford Institute of Technology established its Foundation Office in November 2005. The Office is registered in Ireland as a limited company with charitable status. The WIT Foundation has a Governing Board and an Advisory Board. These Boards comprise a diverse range of people from all walks of life - Business, Politics, Sport, the Arts, etc. - with strong associations with Waterford and an interest in developing the future of Waterford Institute of Technology as a significant player in education in the South East region.

The mission of the Foundation is to:

Develop and widen the Circle of Friends of Waterford Institute of Technology
Communicate future development plans of the Institute
Foster partnerships with individuals & organisations to further the development of Waterford Institute of Technology, specifically the 150 acre West Campus at Carriganore.
