36th Annual Conference of Sociological Association of Ireland at WIT Posted: Tue, January 6, 2009 |
The Annual Conference of the Sociological Association of Ireland (SAI) will be held in the Waterford Institute of Technology in Waterford City from 8-10 May 2009. This will be an open conference with no prescribed theme. Following the success of recent conferences we will be concentrating on having high quality papers and presentations with time for discussion and debate and time for people to meet, relax and enjoy themselves. As well as an exciting programme of papers and presentations, we will also have a stimulating social calendar.
Call for Papers
You may submit an abstract for any of three different forms of presentation:
- Plenary Paper: 750 words
- Ordinary Paper: 400 words
- Poster Presentation 150 words
Those wishing to present a paper at the conference should send in an abstract as a Word attachment to SAI@ucd.ie by 9th January 2009. Abstracts must include name and full contact details and should not include any formatting i.e. please use ‘normal’ format, single spacing and no justification. Submissions will be reviewed and authors notified by February 9th 2009.
