Welcome to the Graduate Business Department at WIT. At Waterford, you’ll find a diverse community of students, taught by experienced faculty and professors who are pioneers in academia and partners with the business community. We have a range of taught masters programmes available to our students and one of the largest portfolios of such programmes in the country including a masters in accountancy; international business; economics and finance; marketing; human resources; corporate administration; entrepreneurship and management. We also offer a range of executive programmes from the Executive MBA to shorter customised courses for industry, including a Higher Diploma in Business. Our executive MBA is a part-time 2 year programme aimed at managers who want to fast track their careers. This year we introduced two new programmes: a new Doctorate in Business Administration and a new Masters programme (mBITE) aimed at non-business students with a focus on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. These new additions to the portfolio of Graduate Business emphasises the growing importance of research and development within our region and represent innovative and unique programmes of study.

As a full member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) the School of Business is actively interested in participating with and serving the needs of students in Ireland and internationally. Our portfolio of Graduate Business programmes, you will agree, reflects the quality of research and breadth of expertise within our faculty. We aim to provide our graduates with the skills to manage the challenges and opportunities presented by the increasingly internationalised business environment. Our programmes are designed to provide an understanding of the complex, integrated functional operations that are at the heart of modern business enterprises. Graduates of all our programmes will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, competences and experience to enter the workforce at managerial level.
