Postgraduate Opportunities in the Department of Construction & Civil Engineering
The Department of Construction & Civil Engineering offers the following postgraduate opportunities
MSc in Construction Project Management (1-year full-time)
This one-year full-time programme has been designed for graduates in construction related disciplines who wish to enhance their skills in Construction Project Management. There will be two 12-week semesters of taught modules (Sep-Dec 2009 & Jan-May 2010 ) and the May-Sep 2010 period will be used for completing the Research Dissertation.
MSc in Construction Project Management (2-year part-time)
This two-year part-time part time is structured to suit graduates in construction related disciplines who want to gain a postgraduate qualification in Construction Project Management while continuing their employment. Half of the taught modules will be taken in 2009/10 and the other half in 20010/11. The Research Dissertation will be completed by August 2011
MSc in International Construction Management
This full time one-year programme offers the opportunity for participants to study in Ireland and abroad. The MScICM was originally designed in 1993 for graduates in construction related disciplines who wish to enhance their skills in Construction Management and who want to participate as managers in European/International construction. This programme is currently being restructured with International partner institutes and universities.
MSc and PhD research proposals are invited on an on-going basis from individuals and companies. The research activities can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis on a range of topics relating to improving the construction industry (people, processes and technology).
