The Department of Construction & Civil Engineering at WIT currently offers the following programme in the discipline of Quantity Surveying:

Graduates from the Quantity Surveying programmes at WIT are prepared to play a key role in professional Quantity Surveying practices or construction companies. Although a number  of the traditional aspects of Quantity Surveying are changing due to the increased use of IT, the expertise of Quantity Surveyors and Costs Consultants in giving cost advice and obtaining value for money at all stages of a construction project from inception to completion is very important. Other important skills and competencies for the modern Quantity Surveyor are project management, portfolio analysis, facilities management, building procurement and law.

Employers may be professional QS practices, cost consultancies, construction firms, specialist contractors, suppliers, property development companies and various large commercial organisations.
