There are many professional institutions and organisations that represent people working in the AEC Industry. These bodies generally provide useful services to their members. They also promote and monitor the development of professional standards relevant to their activities. The School of Architecture of Marne-la-Vallée, founded in 1998, is a publicly administered establishment of higher education under the trust of the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. Located within the university town of Descartes, Marne-la-Vallée was started by a dedicated group of educators and architects determined to develop a new approach to architectural education.

Jean Prouvé Internship Program at Renzo Piano Building Workshop
WIT offers a six month internship programme at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Genoa or Paris to one successful canditate. Interviews take place in May of each year.http://www.rpbw.com/
