Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is the thinning of our bones as we age. To help prevent it we all need calcium in our diet regardless of our age. The Department of Health recommends that children, adults and the elderly need 3 servings from the milk group every day but teenagers and pregnant women 5 servings per day.The easiest way to achieve the recommended intake is to include calcium rich foods in the diet.
