There are two Educational Services Centres within SETU . One on the Waterford Cork Road Campus situated in Room W17 and one on the Waterford College Street Campus situated in Room C003.
Services Provided
- Each centre has high speed printer/copiers: one in the College Street Campus and three in the Cork Road Campus. The Reprographics' Department prints lecture handouts from your supplied files. We also photocopy from your hard copy, loose leaf documents. Our standard printing format is black on white 80g paper, printed on both sides and stapled on top left. Deviations from this standard may be facilitated by arrangement.
- Photocopiers are also available to staff for preparing lecture notes: There are 3 on the Cork Road Campus in room W17. Once staff register with us they get an account on these copiers. Staff are asked to be aware that this resource is limited and multiple copying is discouraged to allow those waiting to gain access to the copiers. Staff should also read the Copyright Notices posted in the Service Centres before copying.
- We provide a binding service for staff and have two types of binders: a heat binder and a comb binder (plastic ring). We also make manuals (e.g. bound sets of handouts or lab manuals) for classes – there is a small charge to offset the cost of binding materials. Details of these costs are available on request.
- Our service centres also stock some class materials and staff can get whiteboard markers and erasers, paper, A4 plastic pockets and write-on film.
