The Waterford RCSI Transition Year Mini Med School Programme takes place Tuesday 17th - Friday 20th February 2015 for Transition year students interested in a career in Medicine.
The Department of Nursing and Health Care at WIT will link with this programme for two days. The O’Connell Bianconi (Health Science) building will be used, allowing students on the mini-med programme access to learning in WITs purpose built clinical skills laboratories and other facilities. Department staff will also co-facilitate practical skills sessions including first aid, medical skills, CPR and research.
Students undertaking the mini-med programme will get to experience WIT and the facilities that are used for the health related programmes offered by the college including nursing and applied health care.
