The process of transferring programme cannot be completed until after the close of CAO season (usually after the third week of October). This process is not intended to facilitate students wishing to circumvent the transparency and fairness of the CAO system.

After the close of the CAO season, the Office of the Registrar will contact you in writing to confirm the arrangements for re-registration and payment of fees if applicable.

Until the confirmation of the transfer is complete, successful transfer applicants will not have access to the relevant modules in Moodle, will not appear on the official class register list and will not be issued a proof of registration letter for the programme onto which they are transferring.

Subject to available places, students on certain courses will be required to complete Garda Vetting Forms. These forms will be posted to the relevant transfer student(s).
