When you apply to South East Technological University Waterford, either directly or via a third party such as CAO, PAC, Education Agent (International Office) or Springboard, we gather personal data relating to you in order to assess your application. We need this data to establish your eligibility, contact you in relation to your application or any resulting offers. The University processes and discloses your data within various departments/function areas of the University solely for the purpose of assessing your application. We are careful to comply with our obligations under data protection laws while processing your application.

Instructions to complete application

1. This form is to be completed by International (non - EU) students / applicants seeking admission to SETU Waterford on the English language programmes and undergraduate programmes.
If you wish to apply for a postgraduate programme you need to apply using the following website www.pac.ie
2. Instruction in SETU Waterford is through English. An English language proficiency is required for all programmes at the University.
3. An application will only be processed after the applicant sends in the required documents listed in the declaration section below.
4. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
5. The '*' symbol indicates a mandatory field - the field must be filled.

7. There is no fee charged for submitting an application online.

  • Once an offer has been made, non - EU students are required to acquire a study visa from the Department of Justice, Equity & law Reform for the course for which you have applied. For conditions attached to acquiring this please refer to the following website - View Visa application guidelines
  • All International (non-EU) students who accept and register at SETU Waterford should have a comprehensive medical insurance policy in place. This should be organised by the student before arrival in Ireland.
  • Your registration will be subject to payment of any fees due before joining the course.


PLEASE NOTE –APPLICATIONS WILL REMAIN INCOMPLETE UNTIL ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED BY THE OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS.
