Each year the Art & Design Group visit art galleries and other sites of interest both at locally and nationally. In 2003 the group visited Edinburgh and in 2004 they visited Madrid.
Reflections on the course:
I joined the Foundation Course mainly to develop my Artistic skills, which I have done in so many ways. I found that I am enjoying the course more and more each day, and all of the other subjects have helped me, both personally and intellectually. I found the Art Foundation Course to be a wonderful link between being at home with the children and thinking of starting a degree. Far from being an extra year of College, it was a gentle introduction for myself and my family to the logistics of being away from the house. Also the course is taught by wonderful teachers who each encouraged us in our own individual strengths, while pointing out our potential weaknesses, gave us ways of improving to College standard.
