MA in Sport Psychology and Master Fitness Instructor in Hiit, Circuits, Cardio, Dance & Step. I also have qualifications in a wide variety of courses, including: Personal Training, Step Basic, Choreography, Body Sculpt, Spinning, Suspension Training, Pilates, Kettlebells, Full swim teachers and Life Saving Certificates.
At the beginning of my professional career I had a strong interest in Sport Psychology and completed a Masters by research in the area with specialist interest in the area of competitive anxiety and it's relationship with the production of muscular force in competition. My findings were published at FEPSAC European Federation of Sport Psychology 2007 (Halkidki, Greece). My interests have evolved since then and now my focus is solely on Group Fitness Instruction. By 2016 I will have spent 12 years lecturing in WIT in the area of Health, Sport and Exercise Science with my specialist areas surrounding Group Fitness Instruction and Emerging Trends in Fitness. I have also years of commercial and industrial experiences teaching classes in numerous locations and venues.
I currently run my own Group Fitness Classes (Donna Dunne Fitness) to keep myself in tune with the current market and my skills polished. I have also taught at numerous fitness conventions including Ireland's Fitness Convention in 2014.
