Fiona has a BA (Hons) in Psychology, an MA in Social and Organisational Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from University College Dublin. She has an MSc in Social Research Methodology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Research and Evaluation and a PhD in Organisational Psychology from the University of Huddersfield. Fiona also holds an MA in Education and Management from Waterford Institute of Technology.
Fiona has undertaken large team based and numerous small scale research projects utilising both quantitative and qualitative techniques in Organisational Psychology. She has completed funded research projects into safety culture, part-time employment and the job related attitudes of the flexible workforce. In particular her research interests cover; flexible employment relationships, the psychological contract, psycho-social risk and employee well-being. She also supervises students undertaking research from final year undergraduate level to both Masters and Doctoral level.
Fiona has lectured and tutored in a variety of third level academic institutions since 1990, including Dublin Institute of Technology, University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, the University of Huddersfield and Waterford Institute of Technology. Her areas of teaching expertise include Organisational Psychology and Research Methodology.
