Jennifer grew up in Waterford City and studied for a B.A. in Music in W.I.T., graduating with a first class honours degree in 2003. After a year away from study she went on to do a Masters degree in Music Editing in W.I.T, graduating in 2006. Jennifer also holds an Associate of the London College of Music diploma in piano teaching, completed in 2002 and a Licentiate teaching diploma from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, completed in 2018.
Jennifer has been employed in the W.I.T. Music School for the past 18 years. During that time she has mainly taught piano, theory and Musicianship, but she has also worked as an accompanist for the children's choirs and assisted Valerie Leahy in the Discovering Music classes for small children for five years.
