Lynne Brennan is a lecturer on the Bachelor of Business Studies (Recreation and Sport Management) and the BSc Sports Coaching and Performance programmes. Lynne completed a National Diploma in Business Studies (Recreation and Leisure) and a BA in Recreation and Leisure at Waterford Institute of Technology and subsequently an MSc. in the Sociology of Sport and Sports Management at the University of Leicester. Lynne also supervises and examines research projects at undergraduate level and at postgraduate level within the Department of Health, Sport and Exercise Science and in partnership with external stakeholders. Lynne has previously worked in Industry in a coaching, supervisory and management role and was employed as an assistant lecturer at the Institute of Technology Tralee prior to her appointment as a member of staff in WIT.

The management of social media as a communication and marketing platform and its role in helping to achieve key organisational goals of National Governing Bodies of Sport in Ireland.
