My Biography

Michael Beirne lectures on the BA (Hons.) Visual Art in the following areas: performance art, painting, and mixed media. Michael has a BA (Hons). Fine Art and a postgraduate in Painting from the Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork.

Research

When Silence Falls Project, October 2016- an interdisciplinary project with performance art and theatre studies students.

Live art event with second year students and Live Art performers, April/May 2016, SOMA Contemporary, Waterford.

Teaching

Michael teaches on the following modules: 2D Media, Live Art, Major Studio Project. He has supervised postgraduate students in Fine Art. He has previously taught painting at the Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork.
