Walsh has been selected for exhibitions both nationally and internationally and was awarded the Artist’s Residency Programme in the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) Dublin. She has received awards from the Arts Council of Ireland and her work includes research and curating; Walsh co-curated an exhibition titled Utopia Ltd of UK and Irish artists in the Highlanes Gallery and Wexford Arts Centre.
Walsh has a specific interest in Eileen Gray, Jonathan Swift and Brian O’Doherty aka Patrick Ireland.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
From her continuing involvement in the art world, Walsh brings fresh insight into the classroom with current art debates. These are presented in challenging yet accessible ways. She is an advocate for the arts and for students and has successfully nominated students for the NEU/NOW European award.
In 2003, Walsh was commissioned to research and write the Ab Initio Diploma in Fine Art, document for Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETAC), Dept. of Education and Science on behalf of Gorey School of Art, Wexford & Carlow Institutes of Technology. It was successfully awarded.
Walsh has presented research on her own artwork and on other artists in the Irish Museum of Modern Art, The Hugh Lane-Dublin City Gallery, London's Whitechapel Gallery, Trinity College Dublin and Wexford Arts Centre
