Siobhan Wall is a lecturer in the Engineering Technology department at WIT since 1998
She has 10 years industrial experience in the American Multinational sector working for Motorola, Amdahl Irl and Concurrent Computer Irl.
She is a graduate of Electrical Engineering UCC (1988) and has a Masters in Industrial Engineering UCD(1997) and M.Sc in Advanced Engineering Techniques AIT (2004)
Siobhan Wall is a lecturer in the Engineering Technology department at WIT.
She is currently course leader of the B.Eng in Electrical Engineering (WD182) .
She has taught modules on Electronics , Electrical and Mechanical and Manufacturing courses in WIT.
Main teaching subjects are : Electrical Engineering , Telecommunications , Control Systems , Labview and Semiconductor Technology
She is an external examiner for Electrical Engineering at CIT
She has participated in course review panels for the School of Electronics and Commincations at DIT
She was a part time lecturer at Tallaght IT from 1997 - 1998 , Taught courses in Maths and Statistics.
1993 - 1998 : Motorola BV : Senior Product Engineer and Team Leader : Worked in the Land Mobile Product Sector involved in the manufacture and test of two way radio products. Responsible for a team of 6 technicians in the later stages of my time in Motorola. Participated in the introduction of new products . Delivered short courses in statistics as an in house trainer.
1990-1993 :Amdahl Irl Ltd. Manufacturing Engineer : Worked as a manufacturing engineer responsible for surface mount assemblies and the wave soldering process. Responsible for the introduction of new products and documentation and quality of the process
1988 - 1990 :Concurrent Computer Ireland : Graduate Quality Engineer : Reponsible for customer complaints and ISO9000 documentation standards.
