The Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) - BBS - is a general business degree designed to build students' expertise to honours degree level across a range of core business areas including: Analytics; Management & Leadership; Finance; Marketing; ICT and Supply Chain Management.

Completing a full level 8 Honours Business Degree such as the BBS:

  • open up pathways towards a range of higher career progression options and specialisms;
  • allows graduates to meet the qualification threshold for higher career promotion options in many organisations;
  • gives students a structure to make major progression in their personal and professional development that is not available with shorter, more narrowly focused courses.

The programme is delivered in a flexible blended mode with 3 weeks each semester on-site and the remaining 9 weeks online. This gives students the flexibility to maintain your career path and progression while you study and apply what you learn on an ongoing basis.

This  programme has been designed to enable students to complete a full Level 8 Honours Degree in Business in four years on a part-time basis:

I can directly attribute my participation in this course, to having successfully pursued a new career. I will be forever grateful to the WIT team to help me achieve this goal. Having worked in management for a number of years, this course has helped me gain the confidence required to further progress my career. Equipping me, with more knowledge, competencies and skills whilst exposing me to a wider variety of business models and methodologies. My class mates have been fantastic, consistently encouraging one another whilst fostering shared growth and development both professionally and personally.

Jane Barnes, WIT BBS Hons Graduate
