Waterford Institute of Technology delivers courses and programmes to nurses at the highest possible standard taught by research active nursing professionals. This programme is designed to enhance your career prospects while providing you with the theory and knowledge needed for practice in a wide variety of settings.

Programme Outline

This two year International BSc in Nursing studies is structured to enhance the integration of nursing theory and practice for international nurses wishing to obtain a level 8 hons degree in nursing. This structure is combined with an appreciation of the unique individuality of the learner, and support structures for the international student.

What is the aim of Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Nursing Studies (International)?

This programme aims to develop a self-aware, reflective graduate who is able to integrate and use their knowledge, skills and attitudes in a variety of health care situations and contexts by applying the best available evidence for their practice and so will be able to contribute to the improvement and development of healthcare in their own country and internationally.

What career opportunities will I have?

This degree in BSc in International Nursing Studies will provide further opportunities for nurses who wish to progress academically or clinically within their chosen field.

  • IELTS score of 6 (with a score of 6 in each component).
