The WIT Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing will commence in January 2019. The programme has been developed in response to demand from a wide variety of industries in the South East region for graduates that are equipped with a broad portfolio of digital marketing skills.
The programme has been designed in consultation with a number of key stakeholders: companies from a wide range of industries, recruitment specialists, the regional skills forum and the lcoal branch of the Marketing Institute of Ireland. The macro-economic need for the programme is well established. A consistent feature of National Skills reports has been the emphasis on the need for an increased provision of Marketing and Sales professionals. Digital and online marketing is identified in the 2017 National Skills Report as a strong growth sector with a need for enhanced human resource availability of graduates with comprehensive digital marketing skill.
The programme will run over two semesters from 2.00 - 8.00 p.m. on Thursday afternoons on the main WIT Cork Road Campus plus online content delivery (c. 30 hours online content per Semester). Semester 1 will commence on Thursday January 31st and run for 14 weeks finishing Thursday May 23rd (no class mid-term in February or the 2 weeks over Easter). Semester 2 will run from mid-September to late December 2019.
The course is 90% funded by Government for employed people who will pay €460 (10%) of the total programme fee. The course is fully funded for unemployed people and people returning to formal employment - please see http://springboardcourses.ie/eligibility

Applicants must hold at least a Level 8 qualification at honours level in business or a related programme with strong business content.
Applicants with a Level 8 qualification at honours level in other disciplines and at least two years relevant business experience may also be considered for entry.
Places on the programme are allocated on merit, on a competitive basis.
