Diploma in Restaurant Management Course is perfect opportunity for anybody who is already working in hospitality or is thinking about going to the business. It offers the opportunity to upskill,  move up career the ladder or change direction completely. Since I started to do this course every class, lesson was more and more interesting. The amount of information and knowledge I got during this 9 months was amazing.

Also helped me to  decide what I want to do in future. It offered me the opportunity to move into the area of mixology. I did my first cocktail competition with WIT and it gave me lot of confidence. WIT also placed me at The Cliff House so I could train with Ireland's champion cocktail bartender. I have competed in many competitions since and I love my new career. During the course you meet great people on both sides as classmates and lecturers, you do lot of interesting field trips where you get more knowledge.  I have to say it is big opportunity for anyone.

Being a part of The Diploma in Restaurant Management programme is what gave me the confidence to say ‘I can do this’. My whole working career I was quite shy, but I loved my job. I had been working my way up through the ranks of responsibly within a restaurant over the years, but always felt there was something missing.

I moved to Ireland in 2014 looking for the next thing, this course was suggested to me by a colleague, and I have never looked back. I thought I would always be in a restaurant, but this course gave me the ability to learn and work in all departments of the hotel sector.

The knowledge and skill shared on this course has put me where I am today, and for that I will always be thankful. It’s a short term course with a life time benefit.
