Good Manufacturing Practice & Technology

The principal aim of this course is to provide a nationally accredited Level 6 educational course in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Technology for people who are employed in the pharmaceutical industry.

Course Structure

The course will be delivered over 4 semesters in 24 months, with six contact hours per week. Laboratory sessions in year 1 take place over 2 Saturdays per semester. Assessment is by written assignment, practical and written examinations.

GMP & Technology Entry Requirements

Participants must be employed in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. Students must submit a work-based project which is completed during year 2 of the course.

On successful completion of the certificate students may progress to a Bachelor of Science in Good Manufacturing Practice and Technology (60 credits, Level 7).
