What is the BSc (Hons) in Software Systems Development course?

The BSc (Hons) in Software Systems Development aims to produce graduates with the necessary skills to function as a core (or sole) member of a team that design, develop, test and cloud-deploy applications, and services for mobile and web platforms using a range of frameworks and tools.

This add-on degree offers the choice of four elective streams for which the student has a choice of one (European Languages, Database Administration, Software Business or Psychology). This gives students the opportunity to specialise in another area as they study the course, enhancing their qualification.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should have successfully completed a BSc in Software Systems Development (Level 7) or equivalent to apply for this course.

Graduates of the BSc (Hons) in Software Systems Development may avail of a range of taught and research masters programmes (MSc) at WIT or another Higher Education Institution.
