SETU Waterford Accommodation is currently operating in accordance with the Government’s “Return to Work Protocol”. (https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/22829a-return-to-work-safely-protocol/). The safety of our staff and students is our absolute priority.
Contingency plans are in place with SETU Waterford Novus Management and SETU Waterford Health Services to provide assistance and support to all our students living on campus.
COVID-19 protocol information will be given to all students on induction. Students will need to pre-book their check in to ensure correct practices are adhered to.
Covid-19 signage is on display throughout all our buildings and social distancing measures in place. A Covid-19 specific cleaning plan is in place and hand sanitizer stations are available at all entrances and exits throughout our complexes.
We also have a Thermal Detection Module at reception to take the temperature of staff and residents each day.
Isolation rooms have been identified in the event of a resident becoming unwell.
Students living on campus should take personal responsibility for their own health and follow the advice on preventative measures which have been published and extensively circulated by the HSE. (https://www2.hse.ie/coronavirus/)

Residents who have been advised to self-isolate should inform SETU Waterford Accommodation Management by telephone 087-2904612/051-306100 and email [email protected] immediately. If a student is required to self-isolate it is important to do so and stay away from other people in the residences. Our Accommodation Staff will be on hand to facilitate and support students in self isolation. SETU Waterford Accommodation Management have designated a number of self-isolation apartments in our residences to support containment in the event of an initial outbreak.

This will depend on current government guidelines at the time. If you do need to isolate then we can facilitate this and support you during this period.
We recognise that this may be challenging for students, but we will endeavour to support you as much as possible as you complete this safely and comfortably. The government advice is in this link https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/coronavirus/travel.html
