For a student who does not live within commuting distance of the institute, finding suitable accommodation can be difficult.
- Will there be enough places?
- What will it cost?
- What standards can I expect?
Students have a number of accommodation choices off campus while studying at Waterford Institute of Technology.
- Staying with a family - otherwise known as digs - which is on a partial board basis. This includes bed, breakfast and evening meal.
- Staying in a flat or rented house, which involves catering for oneself.
- Privately owned student complexes.
Accommodation Services is located in the WITCard office, and provides a comprehensive lodging service as well as information and advice. An office is also located at Manor Village.
During registration, an accommodation information point will be set up to assist you with any queries you may have. WIT's own Campus Accommodation is also managed by Accommodation Services.
