Registration for first year students is in three stages.
You must accept the offer of a place on the course of your choice through the CAO by the date specified, as indicated by the CAO. This is a prerequisite for registration at WIT. Applicants who do not accept a place through CAO cannot be registered at the Institute. Please see the Admissions & Registration FAQ section for more information.
Having accepted your place through the CAO, you must proceed to complete your Online Registration and Pay your Fees Online. The Online Registration facility will open on the 18th September 2020. Login details for this facility will be emailed to you on the 18th September 2020 and will include your username and password.
You will be advised of subsequent stages of the StartSETU Waterford process in due course. Please click here for further information regarding StartWIT.
The 2020/2021 Academic Year will commence on the 28th September 2020. You must complete your Online Registration and Orientation prior to commencing your studies.
The charge for registration, examinations and students services is €3,000.
A fee of €15 for your WITCard (student identity card) is also payable. You can get more information about the WITCard at http://www.witcampusservices.ie/WITCard. Note that Your WITCard photograph will be used for identification purposes and for academic and administration activities of the Institute.
You will need a Debit/Credit Card to pay your fees online. A receipt will be issued to your specified email address. There is a daily limit on some payment cards, check with your bank prior to starting the Online Registration process to ensure you have a sufficient limit facility. Failure to pay instalment two on or before 31st January 2021 may result in access to Institute facilities being withdrawn until payment has been received and processed by the Institute.

There are 2 steps in the Registration process. Please complete all steps to ensure you are formally recorded as a continuing student of the Institute.
STEP 1 Register via the SETU Waterford website
Click on REGISTER ME
Logon on using the same username and password that you use for logging into Moodle and computers in the Institute.

Please ensure to complete all of the above steps to ensure you are fully registered.
If you pay all registration charges and are subsequently awarded a Maintenance Grant, a refund will be issued to you.
