Reach Programme in SETU, Waterford campus
The purpose of the Reach Programme is to increase participation at third level education by students experiencing a negative long term impact on their education from ongoing life challenges, who have the ability to succeed academically, but lack the necessary socio-economic and cultural supports and encouragement to apply for and successfully participate in third level education.
SETU will make 25 places available for Reach Programme applicants in September 2024. Successful applicants will receive support in the form of an induction course, additional tutorials, mentoring and educational guidance. Financial assistance may be given towards books, travel, childcare and other expenses.
PLEASE NOTE: the online application process will open in January 2024, date TBC and will close in March/April 2024, date TBC.
The link will be circulated from the SETU Access Office, Waterford and sent directly to the relevant guidance counsellor(s) in the eligible secondary schools in the South East region.
