Job Description

Graduate Building Services Engineer (Domestic)

Company:       HeatDoc Ltd.

Location:         Foulksmills, Co. Wexford (20 minutes form Wexford town & New Ross)

Salary:             € Depending on Experience

Heat Doc Limited are specialist registered installers of energy saving technology’s, specifically Geo Thermal Heat pumps,  Solar Energy and heating solutions such as Underfloor Heating, Wall & Ceiling Heating and Energy Saving Radiators. We have been advising and installing heating solutions for Commercial and Residential customers in Ireland for almost a decade. We cover most of Leinster and East Munster, with our service delivered into Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Wicklow, Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford, and Tipperary, Waterford and Cork.

We are Better Energy Homes scheme (BEHS) registered with the SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland).

Your Responsibilities will include;

Preparing building services layouts (AutoCAD)

Preparing budget quotes for new & existing dwellings

Preparing tender packages

Preparing O&M manuals

SR50 heat loss calculations

Heat source and emitter sizing

SEAI Better Energy Homes grant support

Liaison with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers

Establishing new business contacts and opportunities


Our preferred candidate should have;

Degree in Building Services / Sustainable Energy / Mechanical engineering

Good knowledge of building services, ideally within domestic building
Good Knowledge of the current Building Regulations & Standards
The ability to work independently and to manage inputs from a range of specialist suppliers and in-house staff
Good interpersonal and team-working skills
Good punctual and organisational skills
Be results oriented and have the ability to work under pressure
Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Word
