Job Description:

Workday is seeking a Desktop Systems Specialist to join our growing EMEA IT service delivery and support team. Based in Dublin, the ideal candidate will have a deep interest in solving complex technical problems, and will be keen to build their experience across a wide range of systems running on modern, enterprise grade IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously, but will also be able to function as part of a dynamic team, and will be adept at shifting between analyzing and solving user’s problems and contributing to enhancement projects across a variety of disciplines, such systems, networks, and AV engineering.

Required Experience:

●      Completed a degree in Computing/ Technology

●      Understanding of Enterprise IT systems, client hardware, and software systems

●      Experience working with both Windows and Apple hardware and software

●      Solid knowledge of networks including Wireless Networking, Ethernet, and TCP/IP fundamentals.

●      Understanding of video conferencing technology

●      Familiar with client imaging and build solutions for Windows, and OSX and client management tools such as BigFix, and JAMF

●      Understanding of VoIP telephony and voice/data cabling

●      Knowledge of printers and print servers

●      Understanding of Windows server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

●      Understanding of virtualization, storage solutions

Responsibilities:

●      Provide technical support to Workday staff at the Dublin office walk-up support bar

●      Build, configure, and deploy Windows and Apple laptops, using enterprise imaging applications

●      Manage IT assets and inventory using service management tool, ServiceNow

●      Provide technical assistance to Workday staff on Cisco UC and AV infrastructure

●      Assist Workday engineers on Systems, Network and AV engineering projects
