• For students requiring an Internship or Placement work experience period of employment opportunity as part of the course being undertaken

or

• For graduates seeking a work experience opportunity, usually as part of an approved scheme, for a fixed period of time, which could lead to permanent employment at the end of the placement period.

The positions in both instances could either be paid or unpaid, although normally an allowance is paid.

There are many organisation who advertise on behalf of companies and the positions are constantly updated, so check these out as they are based at home and abroad and offer opportunities for those of you who have already graduated as well as those of you who are graduating this year.

For current students seeking:

Paid weekend, part time evening work during the academic term year, temporary vacation work during Easter, Christmas and Summer or unpaid volunteering opportunities to provide valuable assistance to local organisation whilst gaining experience and networking contacts.

Volunteering Global Charities

National and International charities seeking applications from people from all walks of life who can commit to a project for as little as 2 weeks to as much as 2 years.  Most of these opportunities require the applicant to fundraise to cover the costs involved and whilst the time spent on the project is mostly unpaid, board and lodgings are provided and an allowance is normally paid.
