The SETU Research Support Unit are delighted to invite our postgraduate community and final year undergraduate students considering a PhD funding application to an online information session on the Irish Research Council Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scheme. The session will take place Friday 23 June at 11:00am (online via Zoom). Potential supervisors who are interested in supporting applicant researchers are also encouraged to attend.
This online session is focused on providing information on the timeline, application procedure and supports available to applicants for the GOIPG funding call which will open in Q3 2023 and will include:
- An overview of GOIPG call, including programme offerings, timelines and eligibility criteria.
- Support and advice on developing a proposal concept, securing supervisory team, advance planning and scheduling of key proposal sections/components will be discussed.
- Directions to proposal guidance and further supports which will become available as the deadline approaches including workshops and reviews.
- Q&A session
