Every week during academic terms our Careers Centre has organised for companies to come onto campus and give information to students about opportunities from working abroad to graduate programmes.

So the world is your oyster and the options are fabulous! Find out everything you need to know about working in the US and Canada in Summer 2020! Hundreds of jobs available from working as a Camp Counsellor to working on the J1/Grad Visa 2020. will be holding an information stand Thursday 12th March from 11am – 1pm in the Atrium, Cork Road Campus.  NOTE: They also have options to Australia and Canada for final years too!!! All students welcome to pop along on the day.

South East Jobs Fair

Time: 11.00 - 16.00

Visit the South East Jobs Fair at the Tower Hotel on Sunday March 15, 11.00 to 16.00.
This is a joint event with EI, IDA, Engineering the South East, South East Regional Skills Forum, Waterford LEO, Waterford Chamber of Commerce, Waterford Council and the Ireland South East Development Office. 40 companies will be offering 700 cross-sectoral Jobs.  Many will also be offering internships and information about work experience.

Autism Awareness talk for Third Level Education 

A presentation will take place from 10.15 to 12.00 and the same presentation will run again from 13.00 to 15.00 in the Auditorium on WIT Main Campus. 

The presentation will explore:

  • What is autism?
  • What is day to day life for autistic people (Students and staff)
  • What strengths and abilities do autistic people have to offer?
  • How Dublin City University became an Autism Friendly University?
  • What Third level Institutes can do to become more autism friendly?

WIT Careers Centre 'Drop in' clinic

Every Monday from 2.30pm - 4pm students are welcome to drop in (no appointment needed) into the Careers Centre, Cork Road for a 10 minute appointment around CV's, interviews, or any career related question. This is a free service.
