College Awareness Day 2017
Location: Main Campus, WIT

Waterford Institute of Technology in conjunction with the national College Awareness Week campaign will support students of all ages to become ‘college ready’ by raising awareness of the benefits of going to college.  For your chance to see all that WIT has to offer you, come along to our College Awareness Day on Wednesday, 22 November 2017.

The institute has 70 CAO courses across a range of disciplines including business, engineering and architecture, sports and nursing, law, social sciences, arts and psychology, the creative & performing arts, languages, tourism & hospitality, science and computing. 

College Awareness Day includes presentations on college life at WIT, student supports, new courses for 2018, routes of entry and clubs and societies as well as the opportunity to explore our campus and to see first hand what a day in WIT is really like.

Talks Schedule

Information talks on college life at WIT, new courses for 2018, routes of entry and services offered by Student Life & Learning will take place in the Main Auditorium (opposite Reception) at the following times:

Session 1 - 9.30am
Session 2 - 10.30am
Session 3 - 11.30am
Session 4 - 12.30pm

Guided Campus Tours

Once you've heard all about WIT you will have the opportunity to explore our campus and to see first hand what a day in WIT is really like. Scheduled guided tours will depart from outside the Main Auditorium at the following times:

Tour 1 - 10.15am
Tour 2 - 11.15am
Tour 3 - 12.15pm
Tour 4 - 1.15pm

Alternatively, if you do not wish to take a guided tour, you are most welcome to explore our campus at your leisure.  Please note that Wednesday, 22 November 2017 is a teaching day for WIT and our students will be attending classes as normal.

#CAW2017 Expo Area

Located in the Atrium outside the Main Auditorium you will find our #CAW2017 Expo Area.  At your leisure take the opportunity to visit information stands from each of our schools (business, engineering, health sciences, humanities, science and computing), learn about clubs and societies on campus, services provided by our library and much more.

Main (Cork Road) Campus

Schools arriving by bus are advised to enter via the Browne's Road entrance, opposite AIB Bank.  Buses should proceed to the student drop-off point (coloured WIT tent) before proceeding to designated bus set-down/parking areas. All buses should exit the campus at the main roundabout on Browne's Road.
