The theme of the event is Men’s Health in these Challenging Times.

Bio
Full time employee, dad and husband, part-time sports and guitar enthusiast. A Dub by birth, and 26 years a blow-in in Waterford. Got Covid-19 in March, and gave everyone a bit of a fright, (including himself)! Got better and is a little the wiser for it! (Hopefully)

John Windle WIT Arena – Healthy Body, Healthy Mind
John Windle is currently the Head of WIT Viking Sport and Physical Activity here in WIT and manages the WIT Arena. John sits on the Board of both Ireland Active and Student Sport Ireland. He is a keen sports enthusiast with an interest in fitness, swimming and a background in athletics and rugby.

Bryan O Mahony – WIT Student
Bryan is the WIT Kayaking Club Captain for the 2nd year in a row. He is currently studying Sports and Exercise Science Year 3 and is a Juvenile Coach for Waterford Athletics Club. Bryan also has a QQI Level 5 qualification in Sports Science and is a qualified personal trainer. He has worked with the International Buddy Scheme for a couple of years and is a Senior Peer to Peer Mentor. Bryan is also a big advocate of normalising the conversation around mental health.

Covid 19 Waterford Community Care Action Group
Councillor Jim Griffin set up Covid 19 Waterford Community Care Action Group in March 2020. The aim of the group is to help our most vulnerable and elderly persons during a global pandemic.
