Launch of WIT Part-time / Flexible Prospectus 2018
The new Part-time / Flexible Prospectus 2018 will be lauched at the Information evening listing course options available in BioPharma Manufacturing, Computing, Childcare, Further Education, Social Studies and Humanities amongst other areas. Applications for 2018 can be made until late August and the Lifelong Learning team who will be happy to talk through the application process.

Springboard+ for 2018
Our Springboard+ experts will also be on hand to discuss Springboard+. This year, for the first time, Springboard+ courses will be extended so that all courses will now be open to people irrespective of their employment status. Springboard level 6 courses will remain free to all participants, and returning students and those in receipt of certain allowances, including Jobseekers Benefit, will continue to be able to access courses free of charge.For employed participants on Springboard courses NFQ level 7 – 9, 90% of the course fee will be funded by the Government, with participants required to contribute just 10% of the fee.

Continuing Professional Development Opportunities for Teachers
Teachers and education professionals looking to progress their career in education are also invited to attend the Open Evening. The Department of Education’s staff will be on hand to advise about relevant postgraduate and continuing professional development programmes for teachers and educators, including:
- MEd in Teaching and Learning
- MA in Management in Education
- Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching in Further Education
- BA (Hons) in Teaching in Further Education
- BA (Hons) in Community Education and Development
These programmes are delivered in flexible mode in order to support adult learners to achieve their personal or professional development goals. This Open Evening is an opportunity for anyone working in or interested in education to find out what CPD programme best suits their needs.

Postgraduate study at WIT
Prospective postgraduate students will also have the opportunity to meet subject experts and discuss their eligibility for postgraduate study. Staff from the WIT Registry will be on hand to guide prospective students on the process of applying for postgraduate courses at WIT along with fees etc.
