CAO Undergraduate

The institute has 70 CAO courses across a range of disciplines including business, engineering and architecture, sports and nursing, law, social sciences, arts and psychology, the creative & performing arts, languages, tourism and hospitality, science and computing. WIT's Friday open day will include presentations on all CAO courses, including new courses for 2022, as well as the opportunity to experience what it would be like to study on those courses and talk to lecturers directly. These events are mainly aimed at 6th Year Leaving Certificate students, their parents and guidance counsellors, but we also welcome 5th years and anyone considering college in September 2022.

Postgraduate opportunities

The Institute has long had an impressive portfolio of postgraduate programmes with more than 50 taught Masters and postgrad programmes to choose from. For an up-to-date listing of options, visit our postgrad programmes webpage.

Flexible learning opportunities

The institute offers over 50 flexible and part-time programmes, in addition to our Springboard portfolio. Our Lifelong Learning team will be at the Winter Open events to discuss opportunities with anyone interested in reskilling or upskilling in a more flexible way as well as with employers who would like to discuss bespoke programme development. Getting to the WIT Cork Road Campus

Driving: The WIT Cork Road Campus is on the Institute's Main Campus, Co. Waterford and is located on the Cork Road. Use the map below or google directions using eircode X91 KOEK.

Buses to the main campus: There are many local bus routes that will bring you to our Main Campus on the Cork Road throughout the day. Please check local bus links for departure times throughout the city. 

Transfer from rail and bus stations: There is both rail and buses services into Waterford city (some buses go to the Main Campus - please check Bus Eireann timetables).
