Online parent's event
Do you have a child or loved one sitting their leaving certificate? Are you trying to gain a better understanding of the CAO and college options available? If so, this online information session may help you.
The online event, which takes place Wednesday 1 December from 18:30-19:30, is aimed at giving the parents of prospective students and guardians of school leavers the information they need to help their children make the right choices for them throughout the CAO process.
What to expect
Our dedicated outreach team have developed a one-hour information session in which parents and guardians will be brought through the CAO process and those all-important dates for applicants.
They will also have the opportunity to explore the courses and supports available at Waterford Institute of Technology, hear from parents who helped their child through the leaving cert and college choices, and hear about the different CAO events such as open days and how they helped current students to choose their course.
The CAO process
We know the CAO process can be a tricky process for some, so leaving this evening we aim for all parent's to be aware of:
- How to make the right choices
