This seminar is funded by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning and is hosted at WIT by Dr Muireann Prendergast, Postdoctoral Researcher, School of Humanities. The purpose of the seminar will be to explore strategies for teaching contested issues in Higher Education with a focus on Modern Languages, Communications and Journalism.

Speakers will include:

  • Professor Mariana Achugar, University of the Republic, Uruguay
  • Dr Eileen Culloty, Dublin City University
  • Dr Fergal Quinn, University of Limerick

The seminar will take place online via Zoom. Participants will be sent a link to the event on the morning of May 4th.
