WIT and IT Carlow Research Offices will a host an online information session aimed at mapping postdoctoral funding calls (known and forecasted calls) across various disciplines at national and European levels on Tuesday 25th of January from 10:00am to 11:00am (online).
The target audience is early career researchers currently at postdoctoral level and existing doctoral researchers who are nearing completion of their PhD.
The focus of this initial information session is on:
- Identifying postdoctoral funding calls across various disciplines at both national and European levels.
- Providing general advice on pre-proposal planning (developing a proposal concept, advance planning and scheduling of key proposal sections/components).
- Hearing from funded postdocs regarding their experiences and advice of identifying and applying for postdoctoral funding.
Subsequent follow-on sessions will be organised delving into more in-depth proposal development guidance and supports.
