Target Audience: Anyone involved in Research who wants to learn more about how to find new ways of progressing your research during times that are proving to be challenging!
What's it about?
A tailored programme designed to support WIT researchers to consider the specific challenges they currently face and provide a highly interactive and supportive peer to peer learning environment. Aimed at progressing research during challenging times this workshop is for WIT researchers whose research has been negatively impacted by the current situation. They will look at how to progress their research (where possible) and innovate with constraints. How does a researcher move forward, how do you complete field research when you cannot access participants? We will look at the two core models of stakeholder engagement and innovation under constraint to help participants explore how they can maintain momentum in their research during challenging times. The final section of the course will acknowledge that these are exceptional times and while some may find an opportunity for productivity others may struggle. This will offer some tools and techniques for dealing with periods of uncertainty.
The key tools to be explored in this programme are:
- The new normal - exploring key challenges
- Innovation under constraint
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Dealing with uncertainty / fear.
This workshop is brought to you by WIT's HRS4R Broaden Your Horizons Researcher Development Programme. If you wish to attend, please register your details via the form below. A link to the online event will be circulated to registered participants in advance of the day.
