The Student Entrepreneur Awards are Ireland’s largest student enterprise awards programme and are open to all full-time third level students in Ireland. This is an annual event lead and managed by Enterprise Ireland with a number of co-sponsors, including Cruickshank, Grant Thornton and the Local Enterprise Office. Enterprise Ireland recognises that young entrepreneurs are a seedbed for entrepreneurship and business start-ups and so this programme is directly focused on encouraging young enterprising students who may consider entrepreneurship as a career development option. Participating student teams are in with a chance to win cash prizes totalling €35,000 in addition to receiving business consultancy advice from Enterprise Ireland and the programme sponsors. For more information check out the official website http://www.studententrepreneurawards.com/
The WIT Student Entrepreneurship Bootcamps help students to acquire the skills they need to pursue the development of their business ideas en route to participating in the Awards. It is a great opportunity to access expert advice and gain experience pitching your ideas to a judging panel. Details of each of the three sessions are outlined below along with the registration form. Only those who are registered will be allowed to participate in these sessions. N.B.
