The keynote speaker for this conference is Dr. Meg Benke, noted adult educator and online learning leader is Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at State University of New York Empire State College and Professor, School of Graduate Studies.

Dr. Benke has had an extensive administrative career at Empire State College, previously serving as dean of the Center for Distance Learning and acting president. Dr. Benke was a Fulbright Scholar in 2015 at the Waterford Institute of Technology and is a continuing faculty associate with the institute.  She continues to advise WIT and other institutions in Ireland related to online and blended learning strategy and the Recognition of Prior Learning.
