Frontiers of Physics is an annual 1-day conference for Physics teachers organised by the Institute of Physics in Ireland and this year it is being held on Saturday, 28 September at Waterford Institute of Technology (Cork Road campus).
The day features a series of physics talks in the morning followed by an afternoon of workshops.
This year there are two keynote talks: one by Dr Gerry Hyde of the State Examinations Commissions on “What makes a good exam question?” and the other by Prof. Gorazd Planinsic of the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia on “Active learning that makes students think like physicists”.
