On Saturday 14 April the first Waterford SportsAbility open day will take place in the WIT Arena from 11-2pm. The official launch of the Waterford SportsAbility Forum will also take place.
This free event is suitable for people with a disability of all ages, their families, parents, teachers, sports coaches, youth club leaders and anyone interested in sport.
Representatives from local sports clubs, leisure facilities & disability organisations will be on hand to provide information, support and advice.
Deirdre Barry, lecturer in the Department of Sport and Exercise sits on this forum and the event on Saturday will be supported by students from the department.
