The student seminar has been designed for secondary school students (interested TY, 5th & 6th years) and their teachers, plus third level students. The objectives of these presentations is to inform and inspire students to become engineers. They will include a wide variety of disciplines and outline the fantastic opportunities for successful engineering careers.

This year will also include 4 ‘Masterclasses’ on 3D Printing, Energy & Carbon Reduction, Sustainable Packaging and Robotics/Cobotics (9-10.30 & 11-12.30). Each masterclass will run for 90 minutes and costs just €25. 64 scheduled ‘Meet the Buyer’ opportunities with 8 large multinational companies (9-1pm), and 2 ‘Careers Information Sessions’ for students (10.30am-12.30pm). The event will open with a Networking Breakfast (8-9am) and close with a keynote Presentation (2-3pm).
