The Department of Architecture held a ‘Try Architecture’ day for Leaving Certificate and Further Education students on Friday, 8 November 2019. The event will showcase Architecture to prospective students and give you the opportunity to see if one of the courses in the department is for you.
While all three floors of the design studios in the Granary building will be open to explore, there will also be presentations by each course leader, who will offer an overview of their discipline in the Granary lecture theatre on the second floor.
You will meet with lecturers and students to discuss all aspects of the courses and college life, you will view samples of current students’ projects and you will spend time in the design studios.
There is a booking fee of €20 which includes lunch in the Granary restaurant. You are required to book by Friday 1 November 2019. We are limited to 60 students so please book early.
