Event postponed
Following An Taoiseach’s announcement on 12 March 2020 all WIT campuses are closed to students and the general public until 29 March 2020. As a result of this decision WIT's Try Architecture event due to take place on 20 March 2020 is postponed with an intention to reschedule the event for a later date. If you have already booked a space at this event you will receive further updates by email. We apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Try Architecture
Due to phenonemal demand, the Department of Architecture is holding a second ‘Try Architecture’ day for Leaving Certificate and Further Education students on Friday, 20 March 2020. The event will showcase Architecture to prospective students and give you the opportunity to see if one of the courses in the department is for you.
While all three floors of the design studios in the Granary building will be open to explore, there will also be presentations by each course leader, who will offer an overview of their discipline in the Granary lecture theatre on the second floor.
You will meet with lecturers and students to discuss all aspects of the courses and college life, you will view samples of current students’ projects and you will spend time in the design studios.
There is a booking fee of €20 which includes lunch in the Granary restaurant. We are limited to 60 students so please book early.
