INTERNAL Student Advanced Entry Application (A4) 2023 - Applications open

Internal applicants must apply here.

The internal applicant facility only applies to students registered in SETU Waterford in the current academic year 2022/2023, who wish to apply for Advanced Entry in 2023/2024. 

 

EXTERNAL Student Advanced Entry Application (A4) 2023 - Applications open

EU External Applicants must apply through the CAO website here.

Supporting documents should be sent to the CAO using the CAO document cover sheet.  Applicants should include:

  • Exam results
  • Transcripts
  • CV
  • Details of relevant work experience
  • Any other information that may support their application

 

Cross Campus Student Application 2023  

Please note that upon establishment of SETU Waterford on May 1st, registered students in any of the SETU Waterford campuses may apply to transfer to progress their studies in a different SETU campus for the academic year 2023 – 2024, subject to meeting the entry requirements and subject to availability of places.

The online application form can be accessed for any Carlow or Wexford students wishing to transfer to the Waterford Campus here

Applications Close: 31st July 2023*

*Applications for the BSc in Agriculture will close on May 31st 2023.

*Applications for General Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing & Intellectual Disability Nursing will close on 30th April 2023.  Please note that there is very limited space in each of these programmes.

External Applicants

EU External Applicants must apply through the CAO website here.  Supporting documents must be sent to the CAO using the CAO document cover sheet.  Applicants should include:

  • Details of relevant work experience
  • Any other information that may support their application

 

Current Students

Current Students who are registered at South East Technological University and who wish to apply for an add-on course do not need to apply through CAO. These students should apply here.

 

How are Advanced Entry applications evaluated?

Advanced Entry applications will be assessed on the basis of availability of places and on supporting documentation.

 

When will place offers be issued?

Offers will be made on an on-going basis in July and August.

 

How long do I have to accept a place offer?

You have 14 days to accept your offer from the date you receive your offer by email.

 

Important Information

  •  When completing your online application you must ensure that you have entered your correct email address as this will be used for all correspondence.
  • The entry requirements for each course vary.  The academic entry requirements are successful completion of the previous years of the programme, or equivalent.
  • If there are more qualified applicants than places available on a continuation course, SETU Waterford will rank qualified applicants and will award places which will be offered to applicants in order of their rankings.

The following programmes are available for advanced entry application for the 2023-24 academic year. The academic entry requirements are successful completion of the previous years of the programme, or equivalent. Admission to the programmes is subject to the availability of places.
